Margaret had a brother named Joe who had two children known as Cousin Irene and Cousin Alice (both Flynn) who never married. They also had Joe and John as sons. Marie Reid wasn't sure but perhaps Margaret's father was also Joe.

Margaret married John Oliver Brown. (John Oliver Brown was born on 25 Jul 1853 in possibly Pennsylvania, died on 9 Feb 1934 in Baltimore, , Maryland and was buried in Baltimore, , Maryland.)
